What we collect, and what we do with it

Who we are

What we collect

We collect information in only two situations, both of which you start:

• When you send us a message. We receive the name, work email address, organisation, topic and message you type into our contact form.
• When you request a gated download. We receive your name, work email address, organisation, and which resource you asked for.

Alongside each submission our servers record technical information: your IP address, browser user agent, and the page you submitted from. We keep this to identify and block automated abuse of the forms.

We do not use advertising cookies, and this website does not run third-party tracking or profiling scripts.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, to send you the resource you requested, and to keep a record of business enquiries. If you ask us about a service, we may follow up about that service. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore in Google’s europe-west1 region (Belgium), and this website is served from Google Firebase Hosting’s global network. Google processes this data on our behalf as our infrastructure provider. Your submission is therefore held in the European Union, not in the United Arab Emirates.

Notification emails are sent through Brevo, so a copy of what you submit also passes through their systems in order to reach our inbox.

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. As a result Google receives your IP address when a page loads, which is how any externally hosted font works.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we have a live business reason to, and review them periodically. If you ask us to delete yours, we will.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email letschat@simplifibanking.com and we will act on it. You do not need to give a reason.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date above.
